Zeinab joined the Legal Team at Danny King Legal in 2021 as a Solicitor. She is a hardworking, professional lawyer, who prides herself on her critical thinking and prioritising the needs of her clients.

Zeinab holds a Bachelor of Political, Economic and Social Sciences (Honours) from the University of Sydney, for which she was recognised on the Dean’s List of Academic Excellence, and a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales. During her study at Sydney University, Zeinab volunteered for the Compass Social Justice Inclusion Program, and was an Undergraduate Student Representative for the Student Liaison Program.

She has extensive experience as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal, having worked for Immigration Solutions Lawyers, Fragomen (Australia), Mills Oakley, and LHD Lawyers. She also undertook a number of voluntary legal assistant roles with Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service, Redfern Legal Centre, Refugee Advice and Casework Service, and Welfare Rights Community Legal Centre.

At Danny King Legal, Zeinab assists in a variety of employee matters, including unfair dismissal, contract negotiations and advice, and helping employees in some of Australia’s largest companies negotiate their exit strategy and entitlements. Some of her most recent matters have involved representing diverse clientele in managing discrimination claims, anti-bullying and adverse action claims, and unpaid wages.

Zeinab is motivated by her interest in helping people who have been wronged, and values being part of a team and profession that serve the needs of the community, underlined by a commitment to doing good for the whole. She believes the role of employment law and herself personally as an advocate is to uphold rights, and ultimately strengthen society. She is particularly interested in discrimination and bullying matters, underpayment, and adverse action claims, as well as the exposure of vulnerable, marginalised, and disadvantaged people to precarious working conditions in the ‘gig economy’.

When she isn’t working, Zeinab seeks adventures in nature.
