Abirami joined the hardworking Paralegal Team at Danny King Legal in 2020.

Abirami is completing a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of International Studies at Macquarie University, where she has been recognised as a high-achiever and is a Global Leadership Program Scholar. She is also the Director of Social Justice for the Macquarie University Law Society, and previously held the role of Executive Officer for Competitions (Professional Skills). Her leadership and management skills were critical to her organising workshops and panels for the Law Society, her work as a Mentor Team Leader, and current governance of the Social Justice Portfolio.

Before joining the firm, Abirami worked as a volunteer Legal Assistant in Tenancy at the Western Sydney Community Legal Centre, and as a Tutor and Administrative Officer for the Pre-Uni New College. She also has a keen interest in music and dance, having co-ordinated and performed charity dance concerts for AusTam Fine Arts to raise money for orphanages across Northern Sri Lanka.

At Danny King Legal, Abirami’s keen interest in social justice and diversity have been put to use in discrimination and other employment matters. She has a passion for human rights, and a strong understanding of how the law can be used to assist those in need. She is valued for her diligent work ethic, engaging and friendly personality, and her professionalism.
